ES students are preparing for an all school CAC assembly to commemorate The International Day of Peace on September 21. In 2001 the UN General Assembly established September 21 as an annual day of non-violence and cease-fire, declaring this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples.
Students can practice The Peace Chain Song in preparation for this day. This rendition was performed by The Elementary Choir in the year 2006.
